The bulbous body rises to a narrow neck flaring into a trumpet mouth rim, with intricate bands of stylized motifs around the neck and base. The primary decorative motif includes four-petal floral medallions and foliage scrolls, evenly spaced and mirrored on both vases, showcasing masterful symmetry and craftsmanship. Each vase rests on a carved dark wood stand.

Cloisonné Vase with Yellow Peony on Black Background

A petite cloisonné vase with a baluster shape, flaring rim, and flattened foot, richly enameled with a bold yellow peony and surrounding green foliage on a black ground decorated with gold scrolling clouds (leiwen). Blue enamel waves ring the top and base, with a gilt copper/brass rim and foot. Presented either as a standalone piece or part of a pair, this vase displays exceptional craftsmanship despite its small size.

Jingdezhen Qinghua (景德镇青花瓷) Blue-and-White Porcelain Tea Service, 39 Pieces

A complete Jingdezhen blue-and-white porcelain tea set comprising 39 pieces: one large teapot with domed lid, twelve teacups, twelve matching saucers, twelve dessert plates (18 cm), one covered sugar bowl, and one creamer. The pieces are decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with continuous landscapes and architectural motifs, including pagodas, trees, and floral elements in the traditional “Willow pattern” style. Marked beneath with “中國製造 / MADE IN CHINA”, indicating mid-to-late 20th century export ware.
